Cascais | City Guide
Yes, we are together again. This time in our beautiful home town, Cascais in Portugal. We basicaly grew up here, and especially in summer, just feels like heaven on earth. With this post we want to show a little guide through this amazing place. Everything just feels relaxed, so let´s begin.
Santa Marta Beach:
We decided to live the car a little far from the center villa, and just walk everything, because is always so damn worth it. In this pictures above, we went through the beautiful, Santa Marta Beach. This one right here belongs to the Natural Park of Sintra-Cascais. You can go for a swim or simply just lay in some of the restaurants and watch the view.
Address: Rua Frederico Arouca, Praia da Conceição, 2750-353 Cascais
Then, because we are always hungry… we went running to one of my favorite restaurants in cascais, “Cascas”. The menu ranges from tapas, some portuguese treats and more substantial dishes. Everything is delicious, with a young and fun team and literally in the beach.
After lunch, we just did what we do best, walk and take pictures of ourselves…(new generation stuff), but also captured some beautiful places.
House of Wonders
And to end this beautiful afternoon, I (Denise) took Rita to this very cute, very unique healthy restaurant/shop/bar with the most amazing rooftop. Up there you could see all of cascais (ok, almost everything) but for our eyes was perfectly enough and extremely pleasant.
So, here it is, a very small guide, but quite good for a weekend away from work. Cascais has some much more to give. Do come and visit!!!
